I’m afraid that super glue will look like... well, super glue. Just want something to look clean.
I used a very small amount of Loctite 401 at the two hinges and at the lower frame.

Smoke black VMU

Just some pictures of my recent VMU Build. Congrats @kite for this really straight forward circuit board!
I focused on getting the housing cutouts as clean as possible. I think it comes out really nice 8-)

Small improvement. I really like the small battery for the save files ;)

Nice build!

I can see an original cart PCB inserted :D Was it trimmed? or it just goes all the way through without interference from the back board?
Yeah its trimmed at the shoulder button back board 😉 otherwise it would not fit.

I worked out the shell with a grinder, cut the metal case from the screen. It is important to move it as far as possible to the left side, to eliminate the black border.

Great build!!

One question... what settings did you use for the 640x480 screen? (overscan-wise)

Re: Pi3 Build problem with usb hub V0.6C

Hey Giles, sorry my bad... unfortunately is didnt short the "PWR" jumpers on the top of the board, as i thought it isnt needed when running the tester mode. A friend of mine (whos way more into the project than me) gave me this hint. So everything works fine now. I'll keep on building ;) Many thank...
