It's obviously using a USB device for maybe the controller inputs or audio or both but you need a usb hub for that and it looks like there's no hub. ETA Prime mentioned it in its video that there were static with the sound so it might be using just PWM for audio or just a crappy amplifier. :)

Those parts you mentioned are just too much for the Powerboost 1000c to handle. You need a boost converter that can output more juice like the Helder's RetroPSU.

Can you please show me, how it´s working? Do I need a special arduino code or is it work "out of the box"? A Pro Micro is a better choice than a teensy. It's cheaper and very common.

You need all four pins connected to the Pi. Gnd, d+, d-, 5v. Post some pictures.
