Re: Gearbest LCD 3.5" screen, have you used it?
I used it, and mine works great. The 5v mod is easy, as well. Just don't go with their free shipping option; it took about 3 weeks to get here! Spend a few extra bucks and get it sooner.

Re: Help with roms
I was in the same situation as the OP, and this helped immensely. Many thanks!Kilren wrote:Another option is a LiveUSB with your linux OS. Ubuntu or Linux Mint are both great choices for this simple option. Google liveUSB and you'll get the info you need.

Re: Teensy LC Won't Program
I had similar issues with my Teensy. I found that my issue was that I was using Arduino 1.6.9. Once I switched to Arduino 1.6.8, I was able to program the Teensy as expected. Are you following the steps provided by wermy? First install the Arduino IDE, and then install the Teensy software. The lates...

GPIO Pins for USB?
I'm in a bit of a predicament. I opted out of the USB hub option when building my Game Boy Zero, and I am now learning that the easiest way to move ROMS to EmulationStation is by plugging in a USB to the Pi directly. I hooked up the Teensy directly to the PP22 and PP23 pads on the Raspberry Pi, whic...

Re: Gameboy Zero Project
After browsing the forums, it seems this thread is in the wrong category...maybe Wermy could move it for me? :) Anyways, my Gearbest screen FINALLY came through (word of advice; the screen works well and was super cheap, but splurge on the shipping. Their free shipping is so so so slow. Anyway...) a...

Re: Gameboy Zero Project
An update for anyone who may be following my progress. http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m311/obey_yourmaster/20160608_195925.jpg After much headache, heartache, and patience, I was able to get all of my button traces soldered up to the Teensy and working properly. I had all of the wires soldered, ...

Re: Gameboy Zero Project
Those kind of conversations are probably just well understood here  Looks great so far! How did you cleanup the case, did you use some kind of bleaching technique? My GameBoy came very disheveled too... Hope to see further pictures of your progress. Just Dawn dish soap and an old toothbrush :)...

Hi guys, just wanted to share my Gameboy Zero project!
