Use this “AV1” wire for the composite Input, i bought recently something similar it should work off 5v give it a try..

Your wiring looks good important thing is ground pin ..
I recommend you install a fresh image and try this tutorial

pretty incredible! i think it would be cool to have a custom 3d printed bottom half to allow you to use bigger batteries, and be able to use something like a full size USB and micro sd on the back instead because you can print the bottom half to have the proper cutouts Nice idea!
