IMG_20170701_162554526.jpg I'm starting to look into the controls I was hoping to recycle a chinese snes usb controller I already have. Looking at the pad board it is more complex than the on i saw in tutorials. I don't get what is ground, i was expecting some common path. Anyone can give me a lead ?

Once again you were right the screen control board ribbon was not connected properly. I feel stupid again

I wanted to try a few things this morning but after giving a white screen on first boot, the screen niw seems to not work at all ( all this before I changed anything). The pi still work as expected via hdmi...

I've tried with a 2A power bank without success, I'll if I can find something more powerfull.

Unfortunately as I said before I'm not really qualified in all the electronic stuff, so I don't have gears to use a 12v power supply. I tried to link the video wire correctly (appart from my poor soldering) this time, unfortunetly the result is still the same. I did the wiring as you described and replaced the yellow wire with a shield one but I still have some flickering I think. I guess I'll try to clean all the soldering and restart from scratch when I receive my helping hand.
