Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
I did a complete update on retropie with ssh and ps3 Bluetooth drivers enabled on 4g then copied that image to use as a base for testing.

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
Pwm audio did work fine with other gpio button setups but those setups did not work across all emulators like mega drive had no input.
But your script works fine with stuff all input lag.

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
I tried with pwm mono audio pin 18 working fine then installed gpio button script. System hangs on loading screen. Pull 18 from pi and normal function with working buttons. Tried with buttons working then adding pwm. Same result. Pwm channel 0 pauses the system pwm 1 stutter pauses. Curious to know ...

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
My setup is identical. Sound works fine from gpio 18 before I install your script. Its not the amps fault its software based due to the stutter and pause.

Re: BW Screen 5v Conversion
Just used one of these variant 7 screens with powerboost fine yesterday. Tried with the voltage booster in place then removed it. Both methods work fine. Be sure to link the 5v pin on the booster to power. Side note powerboost shows low battery with screen and overclocked zero running off lipo. No o...

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
That sound card you linked should have very nice decoupling caps but its a pain in the butt to desolder and use.
The tiny traces lift and its near impossible to remove the usb header without damaging the board.

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
I should add that last night I was playing some master system games and the frame skip was huge, was teleporting a few frames forward every couple of seconds. This was on a fresh install with the only extra process being this GPIO button one.
I have not encountered this problem before.

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO
I'm glad I'm not crazy and someone else had the issue, gpio 18 pauses the system, 13 stutter pauses it when connected to an amp. Multiple amps tried out, clean installs with only audio to confirm the gpio is functioning correctly. The usb audio was soooooo much better, heres a link to 2 small, easil...
