I am poking out of the end of the tunnel now. Er....No i wasnt aware i had to adjust the settings for the sound...Anyone know a good keyword(s) to search. I have searched and found hundreds of posts that are not showing me what i want to i am guessing i am looking for the wrong terminology. Better still...A link? It may sound simple and obvious...

Logic states if i bypass the volume knob and the audio jack (direct to speaker) i should bypass these problems...Doesnt it? As i have done so and still get no sound. I tested my jack wiring when i first completed it and it worked but not since adding the sound card. I will delve deeper into the wiri...

Taking a windows CMD approach i managed to root my way down to the folders.

ls i assume is list? as in list contents?

ls in megadrive shows an empty folder
ls in nes shows and empty folder
ls in snes shows an empty folder

So to me it looks like they are not copying over

In SSH after pi@retropie:~ $ i typed ls /home/pi/Retropie/roms/**** where **** was Megadrive, megadrive, NES, nes, Nes, Snes, SNES, snes and your_system. i changed Retropie to RetroPie and retropie ALL returned the same message. "LS: cannot access /home/pi/Retropie/roms/****: No such file or directory

Ok so far so good... Press start while in emulation station and bring the menu. Go to other settings and disable parse gamelists only. Reboot and let me know if you see your roms. If the above option is enabled, then your roms won’t show until you scrap data for them. When disabled, you display all...
