Volume Wheel Issues

Hi folks. I'm in the final stages of completing a Gameboy Pi 3 build and I'm having a weird issue with my sound. Specifically with the volume wheel (5 pin B103 pot). When the pot is at 100% the sound from the headphone jack works perfectly. But when I decrease the volume at all using the wheel, the ...

Looking for Budget Hot Air Rework Gun/Station Recommendations

I'm looking for some budget friendly recommendations for hot air rework stations or standalone guns. My budget is about $20 - $40 CAD or so with free or cheap postage if possible. I'm located in Canada and shipping is usually ridiculous to get things delivered. For example, I've found some ~$25 CAD ...

Thanks vnman. Mine is 2017/7/1.

I think they've changed more than just the date stamp on these boards. Silly that they don't change the actual version number too.

Re: Using a different LCD panel with KeDei 3.5" HDMI board?

I'm experiencing the same issue as ViaCard. No power or picture to screen. I plugged in the old screen to make sure it wasn't the board, and the backlight came on (but no picture, which I assume is because the LCD panel is borked other than backlight). vnman, do you mind me asking which version of t...

Re: Using a different LCD panel with KeDei 3.5" HDMI board?

I can't thank you enough for this! I've been going mad trying to find one that'll work. Thank you. Edit: Can I ask if you've verified that this works? I'd hate to make the same mistake twice. Edit 2: Never mind. Looking at the picture on the listing, it has the exact model number as the one in this ...

[SOLVED] Emulate Joypad Instead of Keyboard w/ Teensy 2.0

This is more of a curiosity considering I've managed to program my Teensy 2.0 as a USB keyboard using the code that was so generously shared in these forums (you have my eternal gratitude btw). As I was programming my board, I saw all of the devices that it can emulate and got to wondering if it wou...

Re: [Solved] GearBest Screen Doesn't Power On

Oh, no, I was looking for a way to remove the info. Really was just interested in the name of the game and a picture. And a way to see other games in the list.

GBZ35 is a great looking theme. I think I'll be using that one. Thanks :)

Re: GearBest Screen Doesn't Power On

Thanks for the help :) I got it working. I re-soldered everything, using the yellow wire and connecting 5V/ground to the Pi itself, edited the config.txt, and it's working great. I do have a question (more a curiosity really): Between NTSC and PAL, is there any noticeable difference? Also, do you gu...
