I'm getting ~3.4v from the battery. The pads for + and - from the JST connector were torn off. The battery is meant to be connected to the JST connector and I'm not sure if you can charge from any of those other spots on the charger board. I checked for continuity and the soldered points were fine. I am only ready ~2.5v no matter how long I wait for a full charge.

Did you wire up the sound card to the USB pads? I'm asking because maybe you shorted something there... Those pads are in an extremely tight spot and it's super easy to short a connection. what happened to make it fail? What happens when you plug it into the micro HDMI and hook upto a TV? Assuming the green light doesn't flash on it and the SD card has been tested and confirmed ok elsewhere? Its salvageable but likely you'll need a heatgun to remove it.
