Hi guys. I've been hooked on making GameboyPi SPW's. It's a pi zero in a Gameboy Advance Sp. Challenging but not too crazy to make. I was successfully able to do this by running a piece of red wire to the open contact hole above the existing red wire and then to the capacitor. Works great. Here's a picture for anyone that wants to see where the wires go

With your way you didn't have to remove the IC chip? And what happen to the 4th wire?
