Mushy aftermarket Gameboy DMG DPADs
Hi all, I bought many different brands / types of aftermarket Gameboy DMG DPADs but they all feel a bit mushy and "sinked" in the case. It is not a membrane problem because if I try using an original DPAD the feeling is perfect, even with the cheap membrane. I measured with a caliper and it seems li...

How to update SuperAIO
Hi all, I own now for years a SuperAIO based Gameboy Zero making me very happy. The other day I tried to update the Retropie-Setup script and it complained that my Debian version is no longer supported... It is then time for me to upgrade my Jessie install, I tried this: https://retropie.org.uk/foru...

Mame4All not starting on SAIO
Hi all! If I start mame4all I get: on-start: mame4all Parameters: Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/mame4all/mame "skykid" ALSA lib pcm.c:7924:(snd_pcm_set_params) Channels count (1) not available for PLAYBACK: Invalid argument /opt/retropie/supplementary/runcommand/runcommand.sh: line 1006: 3170 S...

Re: Pifba configuration on SuperAIO
After a fair amount of pain I was able to configure it in the same way of the NEO GEO CD gamepad. I've also updated Kite's Wiki: https://github.com/kiteretro/Circuit-Sword/wiki/Configure-input-for-PiFBA Here's the relevant section of the config file: [Joystick] # Get codes from "jstest /dev/input/js...

Hi!
This is horrible necroposting but - maybe - you were able to solve this issue and - maybe - you will read this desperate help request.
I paste here my current situation:

Who were you, Kmetal?
What did you see?

Pifba configuration on SuperAIO
If any good soul out there has a working configuration for pifba please share it. I've been fiddling quite a bit editing: sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/fba/fba2x.cfg With output from: sudo jstest /dev/input/js0 But nothing seems to change when I edit the file. I'd need to set pifba because the oth...

Re: Pico-8 on a GBZ
Hi all!
I wrote a couple of Pyton hacks to quit PICO-8 from SuperAIO and RaspiBoy.
I will setup github repos with more details about installation / usage / tweaking.
For the moment they do their job decently, here's the scripts:

In case you still need this info:
Everything you put in there will be executed, as root, at boot.

SuperAIO LCD flashing high brightness randomly
Hi all! Very happy owner of a SuperAIO with Raspberry Zero W. Recently it seems like the brightness level goes incredibly high and then back to normal in a split second, like a flash. It happens quite often if I press the up button. I am sure this is unrelated but it might be a solicitation for a no...

Re: How to add a shortcut to Mode Button
Hello there! I was able to find the file you suggested here: https://github.com/kiteretro/Super-AIO/blob/master/release/saio/saio-osd.py I would be ok with not changing the Arduino sketch and trigger my script using the already existing WiFi Off combination. If I got this right I'd need to change sa...
