Ok. So thanks to my local TV repair Man “Friendly TV” the chip has been replaced and the fan now comes on with startup then goes off. So looks as though everything is working.

Looking at the picture and you saying it could be that chip. That chip is right under the corner of the cm3 board I could have crushed it maybe with my first trial fit.

I’ve an old analogue multimeter that when testing something seems to show a Little higher than what it should be. So that 4v could be the 3.3v we are looking for. Think I’m getting 4v DC. My soldering isn’t the best but I’m getting better. The fan wires are the smalls thing I’ve soldered. I had to desolder them and start again. [SOLVED] CSO - fan staying on
Hi built my GBZ got it all working but the fan stays on all the time. Temperature is only 51c. Is there something I should have done or is this the normal.
