Re: Talk about show off. Cleanest build ( show boat)

I'm with Captain over here.
Off centered screen (I know I know, it takes up more space on the right side but that doesn't matter, get another one that doesn't instead) and those screws, wtf? I've seen those builds before and the maker always use screws here and there, not pretty at all.

Re: Problem with SD cartridge mod using prerunnerseth's PCB

This worked for me as well.
At first I only soldered every second pin, just as the layout says.
Got "failed to load udev" and later on "kernel panic".

Bridged 1+2, 3+4 etc but it still wouldn't boot properly. Pressed the cartridge to right in the cartridge reader and tada.wav, it works.

Re: Peoplesbeer GBZ (WIP) - Progress update

Update: So the Atmega worked just fine. It's amazing how some type of cables and boards just aren't compatible with each other. My Atmega32u4 wasn't recognized in the computer, grabbed another USB cable and suddenly it worked. Same board didn't seem to work in my project but after removing my USB hu...

Weird behaviour with controlls and USB hub

So I've had a few problems along the way in my project with controllers not working and so on. I've got some amazing help from Fleder which narrowed it down to something that somewhat works. (Note: I use the Atmega32u4 microcontroller, not a Teensy) Buttons didn't work but the microcontroller booted...

Re: pulling my hair out with my usb hub.........

Update: Got my new Zero, just moved everything over to that one and tada.wav, it SORT OF work! Controller isn't working (just as before) but suddenly a regular keyboard through OTG cable works. Getting there. Update 2: Just reflashed the microcontroller with the same sketch as before. And it works, ...

Re: Some HELP with programming an Atmega32U4 with ISP

I'm borrowing the thread a bit, hope it's ok. So I have this board and flashed it once. Everything seemed fine but controllers didn't work once I added it to the build. Now I want to try to re-flash it just to narrow down possible issues but I can't get it recognized in the port section. I'm on Mac ...

Re: pulling my hair out with my usb hub.........

Still no luck... Bought some soldering wick earlier today and just tried it, removed quite a bit of solder from both PP22 & PP23 and they were silky clean, couldn't feel or see anything that would bridge to the mounting hole. Still, "no gamepad detected". I tried a regular USB keyboard with an OTG d...

Re: pulling my hair out with my usb hub.........

Hopefully I get my new Zeros early this week, ordered from PiHut and not sure how long the delivery will take from UK to Sweden (usually quick but you'll never know). Damn this issue bugs me.. Another weekend with no build because of this. :/ Edit: Just a thought, as I plug in all my stuff to the US...
