Re: Circuit Sword Back Buttons Wiring?
Check the picture, you could use those wires seen there circled in blue. (they are labelled L1 and L2 on the PCB, but that doesn't matter). Alternatively you could use the wiring meant for the connector on the other end, it is labelled as R1 and R2, but again that doesn't matter since you'll just m...

Re: Circuit Sword Back Buttons Wiring?
You're using the circuit sword? Does it not just include a back button board and some wires with connectors? Solder the wires to the back button PCB (L1, R1, and Ground), and then connect that to the USB/HDMI PCB, it should have a labelled connector. I'm not using the back button board. I had alrea...

Circuit Sword Back Buttons Wiring?
I need some help finishing off my GBZ build. I have everything working great. The only thing I don't have working yet are the two buttons on the back (I went for just the L1 and R1 options) I'm struggling to figure out how to wire them up. Can someone give me some help? Preferably with lots of pictu...

Re: Kite's Circuit Sword - Kodi Navigation
So I managed to get this sorted in the end, but to do it properly I needed an HDMI cable out to a TV (to see the dialogue boxes properly) and a mouse plugged into the USB port of the Game Boy Zero. Once in Kodi, if you press “Select” and “Start” at the same time it comes up with a message about dete...

Re: Kite's Circuit Sword - Kodi Navigation
Just took delivery of an appropriate HDMI cable so this should be a lot easier to achieve. I'll let you know how I get on.

Re: Kite's Circuit Sword - Kodi Navigation
I installed Kodi on my CM3 fine a time ago and d pad buttons works fine. I don't remember in detail what I did but maybe there is a remapping function somwhere inside the Kodi settings. Look in the started Kodi settings, having expert settings enabled if available and look somwhere for input and so...

Re: GBZ - Kite's Circuit Sword CM3 with Qi CHARGER build
So, I've got my GBZ pretty much put together, a couple more things to do but it's 90% there. You mentioned running Kodi from yours. How do you navigate around the Kodi menu? I've found that the D-pad and A/B buttons etc don't work. The only way I've found to make this work is to enable the on-screen...

Re: Circuit sword HDMI resolution
Since there is no actual circuit sword category I post this here: On the circuit sword operating system: is there actual a handy solution to have a full HDMI or maybe 720p resolution available without change a lot of settings? The reason: I want to set up my circuit sword build as a mobile KODI sol...

Re: Kite's Circuit Sword - Kodi Navigation
You raise a good point. Do you already have kodi installed and function but just need the controller set up for the kodi navigation? Yeah, got the GBZ running RetroPI and have installed Kodi so that it shows up in the menu of RetroPI. it runs just fine, but navigating is impossible without activati...
