Re: STL Files for 3D-Printing mintyPi
Anyone have a trick for putting the hinge parts together? I've calibrated my x and y axis, and the bezel is snapping together with enough ease so I'm fairly confident the parts are printing correctly. That being said, I am pretty new to 3D printing so take that all with a grain of salt. Either way, ...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)
Not sure what you mean by "lapped" but if its referring to the heat sinks.... i personally cant really comment on this as I don't have the build.... but from my testing (when i had it)... the build didn't get that warm, but that's not anything to go on.... as I've never built on of these to play fo...

Re: Veteran's 2nd GBZ (HDMI Screen) (Completed)
I've got a couple of questions with regards to the build. The first is with regards to battery life. I should apologize if anyone asked this and I overlooked it. I was wondering how long the battery holds up with the higher resolution display? Does it drain it faster, or is it pretty comparable to t...

Re: XY Buttons Don't Feel Right
... Anyway, here's the glue I use. Just make sure you use it outside or in an open area, it tends to have a strong burnt smell, mix the two chemicals quickly, and don't get any on your self. I cut the tips off a few Qtips and use that to mix and spread the glue on... Thanks for the tip on the Clear...

Rework Station Recommendations (non-pro grade)
I'm looking for recommendations for a respectable entry level-ish hot air rework station. I see that someone posted a similar post back in March, but not only is the post a bit old but our situations are probably a little different. I've been interested in picking up a hot air rework station for som...

Re: Flickering white screen; at wit's end
Too funny. Alright, another thing I noticed was a lack of solder on the screen points (https://imgur.com/zxihvJZ). Most of the connections look like they are not soldered properly (too little solder). My concern with these is that the connection is insufficient. The SDO/MISO GPIO connection has a go...

Re: Flickering white screen; at wit's end
It is pretty common to have the white screen. But having the weird blue lines is what makes me think it might be toast. I guess I should have elaborated, but that is my thought as well. It looks like pressure or possibly too much heat was applied to the display unit. The blue line and the pink blot...

Everything about this image - https://i.imgur.com/jD6hwOE.jpg - screams defective display to me. It looks like that screen is toast.

I think this is what you are looking for. That being said, it looks like you already found the button as your video is successfully embedded. http://www.trailblz.info/PiattKevin/doc/NAA5ADMAMAA0ADgANQAtADEAMAAxADIAOQA1/youtube.png Side note, I've seen a few of these. Cool concept, but I think the co...

Ouch! That makes much more sense now.
