MAME romset version for the circuit sword

Hi guys What version of the MAME romset is supported by the MAME executable in Kite's special ES build image? I tried several games in my GBZ using my *old* v1.17 romset, and I kept getting errors saying files were missing. And I know these were working zips. So my thinking is, somewhere along the w...

HELP!! no emulators on my image? what do i do?!

Hi guys Need some help here... I've built my hardware, and I'm ready to load rooms and test/play. I watched some youtube videos and in those videos, they put in the SD card into the PC and there sat a few folders, full of pre-installed emulators that worked with with the pi, and it was a simply matt...

DMG case screws?!

Hi all My build is 99% complete. I finished installing all electronics last night and then went to close the case. None of my screws worked. So when I went to research the screw type, I discovered the case should have come with the required screws (but didn't). Wondering if someone has spares they c...

Circuit Sword pops up at the top of the case

Hi all This might be a silly question, but when I place my CS in the front half of the case, all seems well, but by the time I'm done putting in screws in all the available holes, the top sticks up a bit. Is this normal? Do people just leave it like this and expect the back half to hold it down? Or ...

Re: Pac-Man Themed CS Build (Log)

Back on track! My wife found the glue sticks this morning. It was in the box that had just been packed yesterday. But of course...

Re: Pac-Man Themed CS Build (Log)

So I tried to make progress tonight on the build after almost a week of no further work. I was always worried about one thing with a transparent case: light leaking through the case in the corner which is covered by the case. So I decided to see how bad it would be; if I’d find it annoying etc. So I...

Re: Pac-Man Themed CS Build (Log)

Current Build Progress I'm currently holding at step 17 or 18 of Kite's setup list. I've discovered that soldering skills are NOT like riding a bike, and they do not come back so easily. For example, that one step of soldering two spacers onto the back board took me a million tries and over an hour...

Re: Pac-Man Themed CS Build (Log)

Case Mods I'm honest enough to know that my skills in cutting the case in preparation for such a build as this, is not up the standard I've seen on here. And I also know, if it didn't look good, I'd have the shits with it forever. So, two years ago, there was some guy on here (sorry whoever you are...

Re: Pac-Man Themed CS Build (Log)

Status Lights So one thing I plan for this build is to place four status lights in the Gameboy cartridge. I got out my breadboard and made a simple test circuit, mostly to see what resistor values I'd need to make the status lights have even brightness (some are way brighter than others). The four ...
