Short Update:
We have a new contribution to the Project, its a Gameboy Pocket PCB. Thanks to DerNuntius. Here is his git repository of the Project.
The Project is also added to the openGBZ repository.

What usb-c socket are you using? Looks kind of large but could just be the socket compared to the board. Got a link? Yhea It looks that big only compared to the board.
