How would you map this while using an Arduino? Is the function button neccessary? Or would you just map that to an unused button on the Arduino?

So, oddly enough, my PowerBoost just died. It isn't working properly at all at this point. So, I bit the bullet and spent a little extra on the Adafruit Powerboost 1000. Hopefully this solves my problems. I'll post again once I get it running.

Problem with ProMicro and power
First time build with a lot of questions. One issue I'm facing now is with the ProMicro causing some sort of issue with my GearBest PowerBoost. Also, it feels like the board is getting pretty warm when everything is connected. But there is not short from what I can tell.

Essentially I have the battery wired to each pad on the left and right sides (correctly, too. I made sure of that a million times). The battery is 3.7v 4000mah from banggood. The right wire is the ground and the left is positive. I removed the connect temporarily but everything was working the first...
