Hey folks, I'm a web dev by trade so when I'm not obsessing over retrotech I also dip my toes into web dev news from time to time. ROM's will always be available sure, but it used to be SO easy to find them... Just go to emuparadise and download the entire set for your chosen platform and you were done. Now the situation is more complicated and you have to trawl through torrent trackers and hope someone is seeding what you need...

well, as far as the holes go, most of us are using stepped drill bits to make the holes in our plastic cases. They're usually designed primarily for drilling into metal, so they should be able to make light work of a couple of mm of aluminium if needed.
