Re: Yet another build with Kite's SAIO

It is 0.5E1 Edition. The USB Cable is wired to here - Capture.JPG At the other end I use this Capture 2.JPG Then it is attached to the pi's USB port, i.e. easy removal of the pi. Re: Help with gearbest screen wiring

Please check the ribbon cable closely. There might be a tiny tear on the ribbon cable. I had same problem with one of my builds, turned out there is a tiny tear on the ribbon cable near to the screen. The screen just got power and due to the tear would not get the signal. Got the replacement screen ...

Re: Yet another build with Kite's SAIO

First and foremost it opens up the option to upgrade to Pi 3 if needed. Another is it is much easier to solder.

Re: Yet another build with Kite's SAIO

Nope...I am not opening it up just to take the pics of the inside :-)

It is the same as any Kite's based build, no differences here.

Re: Audio hiss/white noise gameboy zero

Seems there are two versions of this 1up board. from the video OP shows @6.02 1Up connected the headphones jack to HDMI board. From another video on youtube this guy connected the sound to the pi3 headphones jack - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ap47fu1u6vI. Just for sanity check OP can go to retro...

Re: [For Sale, Preorder] DMG pre-cut cases

I am sure more people will be using the 3.5 inch HDMI screen and it is a problem for most people that do not have the right tools. It is just a case of grinding down both sides of the front case (just a groove that allows the screen to "slide" in. Almost the same as with 640*480 screen that Kite's b...

Re: KEDEI HDMI SCREEN 3.5

All the "new" screen are the same size, it listed @ aliexpress at 8.6 cm. It is difficult to get a hlod of the "old" screen. The PCB is the same (from what I can see. You have to grind out the sides of the case and also cut the plastic near the ribbon cable for the screen to fit in to the case which...

Re: Issues With Stereo Audio(Pi3+PAM8403+ Kedei HDMI)

@Derock89 -I have a few spare Banggood Power boost, PM me and I'll send you two... But why change the power boost when the amp is the problem? (I know that I said change the power boost to the one that capable of outputing more ampere). What is the amp that 1UP uses in his build? Is it stereo or mono?

Re: looking for someone to build my GBZ

It would take around 5 to 6 hours to build with Kite's SAIO, if you are confidence and solder in one go.
