I solved it by myself
I figured out, that the control input was not possible because it seems the mode button is pushed permanently.
I checked the connection from the mode button/on-off switch board to the back board and there was the mode pin wich was bended to ground.

I've got the same problem with the button input like JCDenton5 description in the first post under No.2
But i have the Circuit Sword instead.
Maybe the same issue with this transistor?
Is there any chance to check this by myself or is it necessary to send the board back?

I have this random joystick movements. First i connected a PSP Thumpstick and i had the random movements issue. I like the idea with the 3 position switch. So the battery don't drain when everything switched off. I also use the alternative power boost. Do you have a link for this switch? I can't see in the part list.
