Re: ADS1015 Battery monitoring + Joystick connection

try this.... https://github.com/Helder1981/OneForAll 111MVvih.jpg just one thing to note (IMHO) if your not using this for something like a RPi3 or equivalent.... then adding a analog stick is a bit overkill and pointless as most system/games don't require/need the use for one..... if you are using...

Re: HELP? - Odd Screen Problem

Damn, I thought it was the LCD ribbon cable that had split but maybe it was this all along why my lcd screen wasn't working. https://sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=8366&p=76562#p76562 When the new LCD comes in, I'll test it first and if it still doesn't work, I'll be clipping that chip off t...

Re: New Build - GBZ

Well, what a frustrating day! Managed to wire up the audio circuit with the amp, stereo pot and speaker no problems. Scratching my head with the safe shutdown pcb though and battery monitor pcb. Ordered both from Galaxy Gaming (I'm in the UK). https://galaxygaming.co.uk/shop/gameboy-zero/gameboy-zer...

Re: ADS1015 Battery monitoring + Joystick connection

I'm in the same dilemma. I can't get the Helder board in the UK. Galaxy Gaming don't have it in stock, and like most other things from Helder, seem to very rarely have it in stock. Looking for an alternative which is readily available to power a RPi 3A+. Don't mind waiting the few weeks for it to tr...

Re: Game Boy 3 A+

@Dawilson123 Thanks! I haven't done anything special for the power circuitry (although maybe I should have?). Based on infinitLoop's reply, I may try to get a bigger PSU, perhaps the RetroPSU . It's actually the original PCB cut down for just the power switch. I wanted to use as little hot glue as ...

Re: Shell modifications question

Thanks for this link. Do you know if that would work with the V3 + add-on board ? My GB Shell took 1 month to be delivered, I don't want to mess it up :D that link is for the v2 board which has a component mounted in that spot, so, no, technically, you do not have to do that... really, there is no ...

Re: Megabat battery

Any 125054 lipo (4000mah) I get mine from eBay or AliExpress. Lots of options. Just look for the best price. Here are two that I just found. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F123367439764 https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/cLUc93x6 I second this. Also qu...

Re: Help locating hand drill parts and sufficient wiring?

Adding my 2C, if you're soldering, buy an adjustable temperature soldering iron, a cradle, good quality 63/37 solder and no clean flux.

Also have a wet sponge nearby to clean the tip of the iron with.

Apply the flux on the board before soldering and it'll help get a good joint.
