Re: Awful At Soldering To Pi
Well I did some close inspecting and noticed that the Data + and 5V pads on the Tinkerboy had been bridged with a poor solder job. I just refluxed, sucked the solder and re did the solders and it works!! Also your idea of resetting ES controls worked as well. So now I have a working GBZ with workin...

Re: Game Boy 3 A+
Hi,
Congrats on the build.
I'm looking to convert my DMG RPi Zero to a RPI 3A+. Did you have to do anything unusual to the power circuitry?
Also what's that little board which the sliding power switch is soldered to - is it a safe shutdown? If so, where did you get it from - I would like one too

Re: New Custom Build
Will post more photos tomorrow - going to do a bit more work on it. I appreciate my posts so far have been lacking in build progress photos. Also I've bought a new RPi 3A+ (£15 eBay special) which I will transplant into this build once the RPi Zero version is completed as proof of concept (assuming ...

Re: Hello All! New guy here
Try a Kite Super All In One. Requires you to solder the Pi onto the board, solder the USB sockets, etc. And modify the case and install everything in it.
It's not easy but not too hard either.

1Up Pi-boy and LCL Gameboy
I've decided to sell my 1Up Pi-boy. Although the build quality is superb and it having a pi 3B+ SBC, there are a few things I don't like: 1. Slightly bulky / bigger than a DMG. Finding a protective case that will fit it is a PITA. Currently lives in a bubble wrap sleeve! 2. No dpad - up, down, right...

Case mods I've done to cut away the battery compartment, for the L and R back buttons and for the USB and micro-USB cut outs
