Re: [FOR SALE] Black Gameboy Zero w/ Pi 3

Yeah, it's got RetroPie on it with a few games just for testing purposes. Here's pokemon emerald (edit: button color is different because this is before I swapped them out and took the pictures):

[FOR SALE] Black Gameboy Zero w/ Pi 3

Price: $120 excluding shipping This is my Gameboy Zero (3?) I don't need it anymore, so I want somebody to take it off my hands. I'm not selling this as "complete" because though it's fully functional and fully assembled, I anticipate you'll need to do some maintenance. It also has some very minor s...

Re: Tiny castellated modules

I've finished a SoundCastel! It successfully pushed 3.7 watts through a DS Lite speaker. This was probably not a good idea because the speaker vibrated more than it made sound and got too hot to touch. I'll lower the volume next time, but I'm very happy with the results at the moment. I'll be testin...

Re: Audio is incredibly distorted on USB sound card

Nope, not a custom board. MintyPi sound card + Adafruit amp. I reinstalled RetroPie, and now there's no sound even though the audio output has been set to USB audio.

Re: Tiny castellated modules

I tested the new capacitors, and though the voltage is much higher (2.5V), it's not the 5V I'm expecting. I'm going to test another battery before I order a redesigned PowerCastel. I suspect the battery might be bad because just the load of the PowerCastel drops its voltage to 0.7V. The redesigned P...

Re: Tiny castellated modules

Hm, PowerCastel isn't working as expected. Charging works fine but 5V output is only millivolts. I've ordered ceramic 100uF capacitors instead of the tantalum caps I was using. Adafruit uses those instead. I'm also going to assemble a second PowerCastel to see if it was just bad assembly.

Re: Tiny castellated modules

Yup, I should add that to the main post. Castel Module Library Could you add the microcontroller pin names alongside the arduino pin names in the schematic view? Sure, I'll do that in the next commit done. In other news, my PowerBoost castel boards just arrived. I've assembled one, but I need to ru...

Re: Tiny castellated modules

The 32u4 module seems interesting. There's a whole community around building mechanical keyboards (reddit.com/r/mechanicalkeyboards is a good place to start) and 32u4 microcontrollers are used as the controllers, usually with qmk (qmk.fm) firmware. Is there an eagle part I could use to add this to ...
