Re: BW screen variant unable to identify

I would power it with 12v and use a multimeter to find 5v out.

Probably check the legs of that XL1509 chip.

Edit

Looks like the output of the xl1509 is leg 2. Measure there and see if it's 5v

Re: PocketPi FE audio quit working.

I'd start with a fresh image and see if it makes a difference. Or you can reinstall the i2s script. Maybe that will help.

Re: screen help

Make sure the AV wire is connected here

And be sure you have an sd card with retropie image on it. With no image you'll see no display or backlight.

Re: screen help

Do you have pics of the soldering to the pi to confirm it is good?

Re: Question for Circuit Sword builds: L1+R1 or L2+R2?

Just do whatever is easiest and uses less wiring I'd say. It really doesn't matter if you use L1,L2,R1, or R2 since you'll map them in emulation station anyway.

Re: Retropie on the Circuit Sword Lite ?

Check here for the image file. Just install that on your SD card. It has retropie set up with all the proper scripts I believe.

Re: Gaboze Pocaio - Battery Monitor (UPDATED)

Would it be possible to setup the safe shutdown script to work with the actual on/off switch up top? Looks as though on the original diagram that what it shows. Did anyone figure this out. I've ordered the round 2 blank board and will be ordered all the other stuff shortly. I'd really like to use t...

Re: Powering the screen

Hey yeah sorry about the basic photos I got everything wired up properly but the screen is drawing to much power and the pi won’t turn on when it’s wired up do you know how to fix this? What screen are you using? Is it rated to run off of 5V? If not, did you do any mods to get it to run on 5V. Did ...

Re: V3 Audio + Battery not working after following other guides

what did you try to open the WPA supplicant file with? try with notepad ++. And also post what you have placed in the one you are using, maybe you have something entered incorrectly. I also assume you are using a pi zero w, since a normal pi zero does not have wifi. As far as sound goes....got any p...
