Re: Pi Zero and Kite board (lite) sit high in case

I can't see any pictures. But yes, clip the pins. You do not want them to stick up too much. See a picture of a kite lite I did, this is how the pi sits. And the gpio pins need to be clipped down a bit.

actually i was able to locate the files in kites github, is there a tutorial somewhere to format fresh?
Just use something like win32diskimager, it will flash over whatever is on there. You can format the card before if you like but it's not necessary.

Re: BW 3.5” screen resolution.

That's just the way it is with those composite screens. You can switch the theme to something more suited to a small screen such as GBZ35 by RxBrad (it's the only theme I use actually). You can install it directly from the themes menu in retropie. You can also adjust the text size in the terminal to...

Re: updated retropie, no wifi now. X over the wifi symbol

My suggestion. Reflash the image and don't bother updating retropie.

Question. What type of build is this? For example, if it's a kite sword or similar. Updating retropie is likely going to cause issues.

Generally there is no reason to update retropie if everything is working fine.

Re: MintyBatterymonitor No on-screen battery icon

Hi again, turning on the debug feature didn´t work, also tried messing with x,y but also no luck. Ended improving my screen in process by tweaking a few settings and installed OneForAll script which worked but the icon is so small (i´m using 1280*960), a battle for another day. eheh I also looked a...

Re: Any clue on how to connect this to a zero without a teensy?

This guide is dated for sure. Use it for the wiring diagram maybe (you can use other gpios though, up to you). But head over to adafruits website to find the guide to install retrogame and set it up. Quite simple and easy to do.

Re: [FOR SALE] Picicle a portable games console

Two months later.. any help please? If you can't use the buttons to select, it is likely how they are defined. I can't recall if the picicle image use retrogame utility or not. Often when using retrogame I will define start or select as 'enter' to allow seletcion in the menus. Another option is to ...

Re: PocketPi FE Pre Pre-Order Preparation

I would avoid Galaxy Gaming, they have bad track record here, the last batch of pre orders people waited a year plus for orders, or never received them at all. With very poor communication. The board itself was good (I got an early run and built from scratch). But there are better options now. But t...

Re: How can i attach my Raspberry pi zero to my Game boy zero?

Seeing the kit you're using will help. Some kits you solder the pi direct to the PCB. Other kits you may need to use individual wires. Let us know what kit you're planning to get and someone can help better... Also may I suggest this: kite makes a great all in one board and they are up for pre sale ...
