Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

Hi, I have a problem: when I use the switch my Pi reboots instead of shutting down I got the Siliconix JFET Here's my wiring: wiring.PNG Using the wiring shown in the first post my Pi shuts off immediately Reversing Source and Drain works, but I'll get Kernel panic when the Pi tries to shutdown :( T...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

I already asked this on Youtube, but Ill repeat my question here so anyone can read it: I noticed that the Powerboost never really turns off (blue LED keeps shining). @Camble answered that "this issue can be resolved with a JFET in series with your power switch." Does anyone have a guide on this? D...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

Sorry if this has been asked before: Do I need the power monitoring script in order to make the Pi shutdown when I set the switch to off? I've added "dtoverlay=gpio-poweroff,gpiopin=22,active_low="y" to my config.txt, but my Pi just stays on when I use the switch :(

Re: PSP 1000 Analog Stick to Teensy LC

Heres a tip for everyone who is struggeling with a non-centered analog stick output: Check if you have connected the stick to a 3V outlet. Most of the calibrstion above became uneccessary once I switched from 5V to 3V.

@dbv

Could you give me the link to the MAX on ebay Germany? All the ones I found ship from china and would take forever to arrive. Thx.

Re: dbv's build - unusual parts only

Maybe I am wrong but setting the system Volume to 1% coukd lead to quality loss. I thought about hooking up a potentiometer (Volume-wheel) to my teensy and map it as media keys. This way I wouldnt have to worry about coming up with some crazy wiring. But this is just theory right now.

Re: dbv's build - unusual parts only

I anticipate that your Volume wheel wont work for your speaker if you put it infront of the amp. Youll need to put it after the amp. This sucks cause you wont be able to regulate your headphone volume anymore.

Re: Screen Surround

How can I order a custom surround? And is it possible that you share your image files? Id like to create my own design in photoshop. Thank you.

Re: PSP 1000 Analog Stick to Teensy LC

For everyone running into the same problem, here's how I solved my calibration: // Analog Stick Calibration //Remap the data range mapX=map(analogRead(23),185, 839, 0, 1023); //I used dxtweak2 on Windows to read at the minimum and maximum values of my stick (X: min=185, max=839, Y: min=125, max=830)...

Re: PSP 1000 Analog Stick to Teensy LC

@tronicgr My problem is that the max raw value of my stick for both axes is 1023, while the lower values lie somewhere near 200. When I remap like this map(analogRead(pinX), 200, 1023, 0, 1023 ) the Stick is way of center. My thought was to add 1 maxValue to the low value and use it as fromHigh map(...
