Re: Started my Kite build. Board makes hissing sound

Are the 3x LEDs in that area one? Does it get hot? If the answer is 'Yes LEDs, No not hot' then it's fine.. If an LED is really dim or out, then it's a short one the respective power line, and if it is ON but one of the chips gets really hot, then it is a small short (the regulators have short circ...

Started my Kite build. Board makes hissing sound

So I've started my Kite SAIO build. Haven't gotten too far yet. I've started the process of getting the RPi soldered to the board, and I thought it was going to go easy, but am a little concerned. When I test it, the lights come on on the back of the board, and then when I flip the power switch to o...

Re: Mounting a USB Drive to view over Network

Ok. Finally figured it out. I was following these directions, and couldn't edit the files. I had to change the editor from"vi" to "nano."

Mounting a USB Drive to view over Network

I'm having a heck of a time getting the USB drive connected to my RPi to be viewed as a shared drive on my PC. I had this working before, then did a fresh install of RetroPie, and now I can't figure it out. Mainly this drive is a drive to hold my ripped BluRays for Kodi. What am I missing? Samba is ...

Re: HoolyHoo's AIO bracket for Kite's SAIO Board

Very cool. Had my SAIO for a while now, but have been holding off building it because I knew some people would make things much easier. I was dreading re-using the same posts after skimming through the instructions.

Thanks HooluHoo!

Has anyone else made anything else that goes along with the SAIO?

Re: Nes pi build

It's not. I just have a bad habit of correcting people. Released, probably right on Nov/Dec. I read it as "before it was known." My mistake.

Re: Nes pi build

believe it or not I started this before the classic was announced I don't believe it considering that's Daft Mikes case design, and he only made it known publicly a couple days after the Classic was announced. And I see you're using the community sourced parts for the Non-NFC version of that system...

Record button presses to Pi. Push data to website?

I've been wanting to do a project for a while now, but have no knowledge of this. I've been searching the internet to see if I can find a similar solution, but just can't seem to find anything. Or at least anything I can understand. Here's what I want to do. I have a pinball machine. The switches in...
