Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
Where do the wires need to go to on the pi0? The only two wires you REALLY need directly from the Pi are the composite ones. Those are here: https://learn.adafruit.com/introducing-the-raspberry-pi-zero/video-outputs#ntsc-slash-pal-composite-video The square hole on the Pi is the signal, so connect ...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
I'm not sure where the composite wires go (or how to separate them from the composite port) Yeah I removed the sockets from the board completely and am just going to solder bare wires onto the pads on the controller board. You shouldn't have to worry about removing any wires from the separate littl...

Cannikin can you share a picture of your screen wiring? I'm not sure where the composite wires go (or how to separate them from the composite port) and a picture of the power wires would be helpful as well Also the button board connector is 100% in the way of the contrast port wh...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
I was actually thinking of exposing just the menu button and then cross wiring up, down, and enter for the display with up, down, select on the gamepad. Anyone know if this will cause any issues being wired to two boards simultaneously? hahahaha Again, thinking the same thing! I thought about maybe...

Re: Keeping as many stock connectors as possible—cutting PCB
I am liking the way this is coming together! How are you planning on attaching the Pie to the case? Also, do you think it will fit nicely after all of the connections are made to the Pie? Right now I'm using little squares (like 1/4" x 1/4") of this stuff: http://www.amazon.com/Scotch-414-DC-Extrem...

Re: Full VGA resolution (640x480) 3.5" display, composite in
Do i have to cut up the button board or can i just lay it next to the battery area and press them from there? Really hoping i can just press buttons from right next to the battery but it seems like a long board so i can't tell. Also what do the buttons do exactly? Is it menu | up | down | sound up ...

Re: Actual wiring diagram
Also, I am getting noise in the speaker to a small degree when nothing is playing and to a large degree when using headphones. My cables are not finalized, just hooked together, so I will probably be working to do some shielding and getting signal away from power to see if that helps. I think the r...

Re: Actual wiring diagram
Great, I downloaded this a while ago, but never got around to actually testing it. How did you get those special parts into fritzing? Is there a source for those? Just added the .fzz file to the first post! It's got the diagram and then you'll get all the custom components too. I haven't created th...

When I get near my computer I'll attach the actual Fritzing file and hopefully it'll include the parts. Otherwis...
