Re: I'm having trouble getting games onto my GameBoy Null

I somewhere remember that smb will not work. Try SFTP / SSH instead. Use any ssh client for file transfer or at least the terminal to connect to your gameboy to see if ssh connection works.
And by the way: make sure ssh is enabled in the reteopie settings.

Re: Noob question about tac switches

Your wiring is ok! The wiring on the picture is very simelar: these guys just make use of the internal bridge inside thise switches from left to right. You can measure this: upper left and right are bridged and lower left and right are bridged in these switches. So you can enter your ground on one s...

Re: Drill guide

In Cura: re-size all tree axis by lets say 1.1 if your result should get bigger. If you own a calipper: measure the actual size of your print. Than measure the need size of your tin. For each axis! Re: Drill guide

Try different zoom factor in you slicer. Or measure the difference and calculate the need factor. Possibly some try and error need.

Re: Which SD card do you use?

No difference for gameplay at all! The only advantage you could win is a faster boot up time. But even this only if you use the right sd card and make a use of the sd overclocking function. Google for it. The right sd card for overclocking needs to been found by try and error. There is no standard t...

Re: need help on software side of build

Could be a reason of wrong user-rights: pi user vs. root. How I do: login to the pi with cyberduck using the PI user, not the root! Later I download the file I want to edit with cyberduck. I edit my files locally on my desktop, save and upload with cyberduck/ overwriting the existing file inside the...

Re: PD035VX2 Screen with KYV-N2 V7 12V- 5V

Try yourself a way forward: power with 12V. Than measure on all big capacitors the voltage to ground. You should find at least one. This can later on be the point to inject your 5V supply to. But in worst case your board has another cirquit which produces 3.3V from 12V source. In that case it starts...

Next interesting form factor to build! Very nice design. I am looking forward for an final customer ordering version.
Reminder for myself: Already 5 different retropie models on the shelf should be somewhere enough... But this one is nice!
