Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute

Re: Powerboost 1000c LED Relocation

Its generally possible: just desolder the mounted LEDs, beeing carefull not to damage surrounding parts! Remenber the orientation of the original parts (green marking on the led) and extend the connections by wire. Do not use a common ground! The LEDs are on different potential! You have to extend e...

Re: My Solution to adding LED battery indicator LEDs

Same idea: I placed low bat and charging LEDs in the rest of a cartridge. I used flat heat leds from ebay: http://www.ebay.de/itm/140748947687?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Finally another good idea I found somewhere was to put the Raspberry Zero into the cartridge shell...

Had a similar issue when testing the teensy: one button key pressed was detected bouncing. Finally it was my script on the teensy: same keyboard command was used from two inputs!

Re: Key layout outside of Emulatorstation

I used this board: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01D0OI90U/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Is your idea about to map the board output to arrow keys instead of standard alphabet keys? Would be an idea, unfortunately programming my Arduino was one of the first steps in this project. Th...

Key layout outside of Emulatorstation

Hi, I finally got my Gameboy with Raspberry Zero working. I took me weeks to get my key layout in line to the emulators. I am using Retropie and an Arduino board for pressed buttons to keyboard "keys" conversation. Now the emulatorstation GUI works fine with my button mapping and all the controller ...

Re: Composite or hdmi to vga adapter?

The controller board looks large compared to the 3.5 inch screen. Could be difficult to bring all this inside the gameboy housing.
