Re: Build done, but random reboots and screen freezes

Could be a lag of sufficent power. Or someting is shortening the power maybe from force to the case when you press buttons during games.

Re: Arduino Leonardo pro micro

5 volts and ground you can find anywhere on the board. The data lines usually go to each a 22 Ohm smd resistor. Between usb jack and these resistors is where your usb data wires should go. Take care to measure the continuity after soldering data wires to this resistors since these components or thei...

Or more smaller caps in parallel to minimize hight.
As well for the integrated circuit if helpfull: To minimize hight you could use it without socket. Bent the IC pins by 90degrees to outside and solder them direct to the cupper side of your board.

Nearly impossible because: -PLA printing material will dissolve over long term in water -Speaker outlet will catch water -Charger connector will allow water entry -Display will catch water due to capillary action -All buttons need mechanical gaps to allow free movement which allow again water to ent...

Re: Help wiring up 940nm IR leds

According to diode IR204-A data sheet typical current should be 20mA at 1.2 Volt forward voltage. Meaning your resistor should drop the remaining 3.8 Volts from the 5 Volt power source. 3.8V at 0.02A resulting a resistor value of 190 Ohm. Or something available close to this value. Re: Any ideas? mac doesn't see retropie...

On Mac: install and use the ssh file transfer App Cyberduck!

During connection setup just do not forget to change to SSH (sftp) with of course the right ip adress and login/ password. And by the way: make sure ssh is already enabled on your reteopie image.

Re: DPI and HDMI ?

Both in parallel works with a service like dpi cloner. Only disadvantage is you will have the same (low) resolution on your tv like on your inside screen.
To improve this Kite build the function "reboot to HDMI" into his Circuit Sword image.

Re: SD cartridge reader

Thinner should be fine since there is no power consumption from sd card. I guess any fault is caused by interferience. Maybe shild in any means could help and of course wires as short as possible. And a stable power supply. This is the reason for the capapcitor betwenn power and ground very close to...
