L/R holder and button caps for soft tactile for Circuit Gem

This was my solution for the L and R on my Gem. Everything Fit snug (but not tight). I used 8mm x 8mm soft tactile switches. 751A7615-0C30-4791-ABF0-54F93120BE5A.jpeg C0813BDB-8A3D-47F2-8976-41B648B199A6.jpeg 94CF0F95-6F80-4ECD-9FA2-14D55AB7A235.jpeg gem button holder.stl gem lr button.stl

Re: Save states on Gem

Okay. Can I remap the L and R to save and load states when I’m in there?

Re: Circuit Gem battery

Just to contribute:

This is the battery I used: 750mah. Shipped from within the US.

I only removed the hdmi and two usb connectors. And still used L/R buttons

[Solved] Save states on Gem

Is there a way to use them? I have an L/R set up but they aren’t working.

Or how can I get to the retroarch menu? (Usually select+X). I’m fine with saving and loading that way too.

Re: Robochris’ Gem

Just a side note, if anyone is interested in the brackets and button caps I used, I’d be happy to share the stl files. Yes please. Always nice having options. Gotta love 3d printers. Wish a vmu shell stl existed. I’ll post them when I’m back to my Mac. Yeah, I looked for a vmu stl but found nothing...

Re: Sparkle GBZ with Custom Soft Tactile Shoulder Buttons

Very well done. Nice and clean! It’s always nice to see something other than classic/snes/sfc/black and white builds. Haha.

Does your stl set include designs for tactile switches for L/R? Or for a pcb?

Robochris’ Gem

I was a little hesitant to build a gem just because of the screen being so small but it’s super sharp for its size. I used soft tactile switches for L/R because I love the way they feel like an actual button on a controller. I designed and printed brackets and button caps for them. The only imperfec...
