Re: Swanberrypi 2
You CAN tap the original controls, especially if you're good at trace scratching, but I used copper tape in my project. The battery was another issue. Good luck, it's a fun build!

Re: [Solved] Very glitchy controls.
This worked for me! I hadn't run into this issue with any previous builds (3 down, no problems) but this 4th was having so many "A" button bounces that it was unusable. Added the small snippet of code as stated above, and the delay of 100 worked for me. 50 wasn't good enough. Everything works like a...

Re: [NEW VERSION] Sota's 14 buttons + optional up to 2 analog sticks guide for a Leonardo Pro Micro (Teensy alternative)
Fun Fact: If you accidentally bought the 3.3v/8mHz version, the button presses work with NO lag at all, but the analog sticks will NOT work. I was arguing with mine for a solid week and realized I bought the wrong version. Hupps. I'd done this exact guide before on two Arduinos and it's worked perfe...

Re: Game Boy Zero - Pocket Edition
Are those tactile buttons? Will there be a version for membrane buttons? Looks good!

Re: Game Boy Zero - Pocket Edition
I'll always love the classic layout, but the diamond doesn't get so close to the screen area.
What screen would be used for these? I have a 2.5" diagonal backup screen, need to try and fit it sometime, but I feel like SPI would be way easier for space.

Re: Neo Geo Pocket Color Pi3
Small update--got screen properly converted to 5V, no guide but I looked at all the existing screen conversion solutions and figured it out pretty quick. Controls are all plumbed and working, but I need to get smaller gauge wire because 28awg is wayyyy too thicc for this shell. Pi3 is desoldered and...

Re: SwanBerry Pi
This is a really cool build, and one I've been contemplating myself. I have a WonderSwan Color and I measured the screen opening to be 62mm x 39.5mm. Could you measure the screen opening of your "regular" WonderSwan for us? It'll help me decide which donor console to get. (A SwanCrystal is out of t...

Neo Geo Pocket Color Pi3
Hello! Had a friend send me his NGPC for a Pi3 renovation. His screen didn't appear to be working anymore, so after a quick trip to my doorstep, I got right to work. Plans are to add a composite 2.5" LCD from a rearview camera monitor, add AB buttons under the existing buttons, tactile buttons on to...

Re: SwanBerry Pi
Thanks! I hadn't seen one before and I'd never seen in person a WonderSwan. It's been a fun build.Orochi Kusanagi wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2017 4:05 pmThat is so cool! The Wonderswan was my favorite handheld ever, I still play mine from time to time. It's so awesome to see a project like this.
I've got a NeoGeo Pocket Color to do next too.
