Okay, didn’t know that. I’ll have to pick up a teensy than and look up some how to code it/program it.
Thank you!
A Pro Micro is a better choice than a teensy. It's cheaper and very common.

Re: USB hub issues using connector plug

You need all four pins connected to the Pi. Gnd, d+, d-, 5v. Post some pictures.

Re: USB C battery charger

It's the usually battery charger everyone uses but with just a different connector. I use the same tp4056 chip with my PowerSwitch prototype.

Re: Help with USB hub and USB sound card

Hi correia5022! I just got the usb hub you sent me and here are my test results. Windows 10 - All 4 ports work just fine. Pi 3b+ with latest Raspbian - All 4 ports work just fine. Pi 3b+ with RetroPie v4.4 - Only ONE port is working. I’m not sure why the other 3 ports won’t work. 0EA75317-C4E0-4764-...

Thanks for the tip! I would probably wire them up near the top edge of the USB PCB in the picture above. That would b far enough to clear the Pi. Would that be too far?
That would be fine I think. You can try.

Re: Question on modifying a Targus USB hub

Those are probably bypass capacitors which should be placed as close as possible to the IC. You can try relocating them but shouldn't be too far. Or you buy smaller smd capacitors.

Re: tinkerboy 2.0.1

I stuck pics up....there the google photo links....my continuity is good as well...I'm gonna super clean my silicone pads......I've bought 4 sets of silicone pads but they all are from same manufacturer.... If continuity is good then there's nothing wrong with the PCB. You can verify the pin number...
