Code: Select all

sudo chmod 777 /usr/local/bin/retrogame

Re: BW Screen 5v Conversion

test it first unmodded with a power supply that was intended for it. It works fine with and without the conversion when running from the original power supply, but my problem is getting it to play nice with the power boost. i thought you said "Also, without converting and using powerboost 1000c, I ...

Re: Easy way to setup the controller buttons via GPIO

You don't have to delete your old keyboard settings. If you used gpio13 for the speaker then the x button for this guide wont work. You can edit the file /boot/retrogame.cfg to suit your needs. if you said it rebooted once then probably it copied all the files needed but maybe just a file permission...

Am I doing something wrong or is the pi zero W not supported with your tool? I have been trying to get my GPIO buttons to work all weekend and I have mad...

Re: PCSX-Rearmed: A great emulator for Pi-Zero but will it work with a Gameboy Zero?

Thanks for your responses. I have found a solution! I'll share in just a second. Zeroboy, I did try the standard Retropie SD image with my Gameboy Zero just to see what would happen but unfortunately, it wouldn't boot up at all! Or at least, the screen doesn't display anything. I'm pretty sure the ...

Re: Battery drain when the system is off

You will always get some charging if you plug the battery back in. The chemicals inside the cell have chance to rest while it is sat disconnected, so they can take a little more charge later on I agree. Check with a multimeter if you want to make sure your gbz isn't discharging too much battery whe...
