I burned the trace where you had to solder on to the regulator, thanks to my cheap soldering iron. Removed the removed the regulator and wired to the 5v trace and grnd trace on the back and the screen is working. Saved me from having to buy a replacement screen. Much thanks to everyone in this thread.
