If you do not have the "newer" version of the screen, its not worth it at all. I attempted to get one to fit and it was a no-go. That old screen is huge and offset to one direction. You will be grinding and grinding for days to get it even close to centered. Mine was a ninety dollar waste of money a...

It's about a 9mm hole if I'm not mistaken. Just enough to allow the stick to have full travel.

22 gauge wire is too thick and overkill anyway. For 5V connections I use 26 and for everything else you can use 30 or even smaller if you want.
