Draws more power and gets hotter, but probably not as bad as something like a 3b+, though I would advise a beefier PSU anyhow

I researched using a CNC rig to help, I got mine to cut the screens but the battery bay is quite complex and it takes longer with a CNC. I am happy to do the front shells, it's something we're currently talking about :). We've also had a really nice offer from someone, we're just discussing it now....

Tried reflowing your audio related components? And make sure the audio is turned upon alsa

Have you tried configuring input from the main menu in emulation station? I did that and my L and R started working. That worked... Thanks.
