Re: Airpod

Go read over the many forum posts here about Bluetooth headphones and none of them work on the raspberry pi so since the mintyPi is powered by a Pi then chances are good it's a no.

Re: V3 ES Menu Freeze/Crash

Update: I finally gave up after reaching the conclusion my treatment was worse than the disease (apt-get update/upgrade broke the sound). I went ahead and swapped in a new SD card with fresh mintyPi image and seems to be stable now. Huge relief as I feared it might have been related to HW issue on ...

Re: Question about release of Mintypi Lite

Why not ask the me directly if you follow me on Instagram? As it is right now there is no more v3 going to be made, I plan to look at some of these other screens to see if they will work or not but then there is the added cost so because of that those might be made with a pre-order only since people...

Re: Display not working

update: rechecked all my connections with a new meter. Cannot get GND to have continuity with the test pad. Then there is your problem, rewatch Wermy's build video and look at his tips about getting the solder into the GPIO with a wire or you can just solder a wire from the GND GPIO to the GND Test...

Re: Display not working

Why are some of the GPIO not look like they are soldered? The lower Left one is a GND and it's always good to have as many GND connections as possible soldered. You are using the correct mintyPi image with this too right? Test continuity following this image below. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachm...

Re: MintyPi V3 doesn't start up (flickering white screen)

Have you check the actual voltage on the battery itself? what is the voltage also have you tested continuity to the neighboring GPIO of each GPIO? to be sure there is nothing touching under the Pi. Also when did you get this kit? is it using one of the older fixed Power Boards?

Re: Flashing blue led

Figured it out. The battery was not seated correctly. So a guide for the old type of power board is Solid blue = charging Flashing blue = battery problem/not seated correctly No light = charged. If you have one of these old boards let me know as I can replace it with a newer one. Better to have one...

Re: Setup script

Would the setup script work on a Pi 4 dev build? I want to try making a more powerful version of the mintypi with a stripped down pi 4, and it would be a lot easier if I could just use this script instead of making my own. First off WHY? the pi 4 needs decent power to operate and how are you going ...

Re: Display not working

I'm having the same exact issue as the OP.. I just put solder on the ribbon cable pins and still no image. I've tested all the connections with my meter. Everything is correct - even from the soldering points to the screen. Faulty screen? I cannot figure this out for the life of me. Show me some pi...

Re: Static on screen

So you used another v3 LCD on this kit? And it gave you the same issue? Might want to redo the LCD GPIO which are middle GPIO. If that doesn't fix it then could be a bad pi but I've never seen those symptoms shown in the pictures.
