Re: Keyboard

Not sure but the mintyPi v3 outputs 5v, enough to power the keyboard. Be sure the adapter is not one of those thin ones you insert into the inside of the usb socket and is not upside down and test it on a PC first to be sure it works.

Re: Keyboard

Any keyboard will work by plugging it into the microusb port with an adapter but I know logitech ones are better ones, you can also use a Bluetooth one if you turn on Bluetooth within the mode menu.

Re: Testing 5 volt traces to debug no sound

Hi, I searched this forum re. the minty pi no sound issue, which I have encountered. i traced all the other SMD pads to the pi for continuity without issue. I am now testing for 5 volt power issues. I have a clarity question re. the 5 volt pads to test based on the following picture. Screen Shot 20...

Re: Charging and Audio Issue

I should but it will have a thin wire for audio and could pickup a little interference which I can't do anything about since the wire will be necessary.

Re: MintyPi 3- Powers from Pi USB but not Power Board

So I do have continuity from both the 5v gpio/test pad, and I made sure not to force the cable in. I then checked for bent pins but all of them are perfectly fine. Ok the other thing is the GND is there good continuity? also does the whole thing work if you plug in a micro usb to the Pi? if not the...

My WC number is WC-2202.
This was last summer but either way I'll send you a new Powerboard.

Re: Mintypi v3 will not Shut Down Properly

I'm not sure of the cause yet myself but some powerboards are causing this behavior, I can send you a new one that will fix the issue. Just swap it out with the one you have now and it'll work, what was your order number? It should start with WC- then a number.

Re: Charging and Audio Issue

I have had maybe 3 or 4 amps be bad out of hundred of boards so it's not common but has happened. If the trace is kind of floating just snip it off and also redo the 3 audio points just to rule out soldering issues then let me know.

Re: Charging and Audio Issue

Might be a bad amp chip, send me the controller pcb with soldered on Pi and SD card and I'll have a look and replace the chip if it's faulty. Send me a PM if you need my shipping info.
