Re: [SALE] Retro PSU, a 3.5A Output capable Boost Board

The Retro PSU v1 the one in this thread can not reliably power it all unless it's pi 4 by itself but the new V2 can which I should have stock of in a few weeks. It can do up to 6A. Here is a video of someone who tested out the new version on some power hungry devices.

Re: Battery Indicator

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the SDA and SCL? Can you upload a picture? You know the GUIDE you hopefully followed should have had the image to know how to check continuity to which test points but I don't think you followed it so here is the image, it's the 2nd and 3rd from the right. https://c...

Re: MintyPi v3 - not turning on over battery

If the 5v has continuity to the proper points (assuming you know how to properly check continuity) then you should check out the voltage of the battery itself. Also look in the white connectors that the wiring harness plugs into, if you put it in upside down at anytime and forced it in then you like...

Re: Help Mintypi Lite

Does anyone have any insight for me please? I am at a loss. The problem is either a bad button which is uncommon and a bridge between the GND and the Mode GPIO which is directly right below the mode GPIO which is common among new builders. Use a multimeter to check the mode GPIO to the GND GPIO rig...

Re: Function menu open without button press

could be but more than likely you have something bridging it to a GND point, remove the buttons (with flux and solder braid or hotair) then see if the menu is still popping up. If it is then your soldering is the issue and likely has a bridge to another gpio or GND gpio, tell me did you use flux pas...

Re: Battery Indicator

All points should have continuity so everything works but since you don't know which one is not connected you could have other issues down the road. It's the SDA and SCL.

Hard to find older versions too, we should post a few on some hosting sites to keep them available for future use. I personally like the older ones too.

Re: Boot Issue

Then you have bad soldering even though you want to assume it's the hardware like maybe it's the ribbon as you think but I can guarantee it's your soldering. Check continuity on the test points and also to the GPIO next to the one you are testing continuity on, the ribbon is not going to be an issue...
