Re: [WIP] Project RetroBoy; a custom CAD drawn Gameboy case

Have you thought about making the whole case a little bit slimmer? The classic Game Boy is very bulky. I already considered 3D-printing a slimmer version of the case backside to use with the original frontside. I don't agree. I only got to play with my build this past weekend and it is not bulky fo...

Re: [WIP] fdeluxes Game Boy Zero

Looks like you didn't have to use the "vertical aligned buttons" like the Kite's build did to use the 3DS analog stick. Can I see the inside of your build to see how the psp stick is mounted? Also, does anyone know if the Kite build will accept the psp analog stick? I can't ask in the Kite thread b...

Re: [WIP] fdeluxes Game Boy Zero

Looks great, awesome clean build!! Love the L & R buttons~ I'm curious if you managed to keep the working cartridge reader with that snes L & R button setup? Unfortunatly not. I did a first build where I put the LR buttons a little deeper and could keep the cartridge reader. But I ditched this for ...

[WIP] fdeluxes Game Boy Zero

Hi, I've reached a state where I am very eager to present you my Game Boy Zero build! It comes with some gimmicks, like a customizable RGB LED behind the speaker grill :D The color can be changed by simultaneously pressing the small mode button in the upper left and the A/X/Y button. The color is sa...

Such a shame. A hole a little bit smaller than the analog stick cap would have been enough :D

Congratz on your first build! Why did you make such a big hole for the analog stick? oO

My Gameboy Zero Splashscreen Video

Hi,

I just wanted to share my splashscreen video with you guys. It's very simple... one reason is because I like it that way, the other reason is I'm not very handy with cutting software :D

Re: Sota's Game Pi 3 / Raspberry Boy 3 [Raspberry Pi 3 Game Boy] (WIP)

Great build! But I anticipate that you'll going to get some serious ergonomic issues with the placement of the L and R buttons. There's no way you'll be able to use both analogs and manage to press one of the trigger buttons in a comfortable way and still be able to precisely operate the sticks. I h...

Re: [Guide] Graceful shutdown switch without Pololu

@fdeluxe Your diagram shows the gate as being connected to the EN pin, where it should be connected to GPIO22. The gate may be pin 3 on the JFET, but it's the one with the arrow on the symbol. Yup, I know that the gate is the one with the arrow. Sorry, my diagram is faulty. For my diagram just pret...
