Re: FBA Emulator
It says "Hit any button to configure", I've never had a problem with a usb pad, have you tried it on any system other than the fba?

Re: Screen size
Extra buttons are the only reason I'm not doing a gbc, also, I had already bought a 3.5" screen when I got a broken GBC to play with

Re: Screen size
The original gameboy screen is 2.6 in, not sure there's a display that size but you can get a 2.4 or 2.8 in display at adafruit, it's too small for my liking, would be better on a smaller project like a gbc or gbp

Looking good, love the bench drill mount, I have horrible hand pulse and could really use something like that, not sure how straight my cuts will be

Re: Skipping the teensy
I don't know where the Pi3 came about but this is simply an alternative to the other methods available and is geared towards people who want plug and play and not have to fuss with so many wires. While we're on the GPIO pin route there is another method that Brian is looking into using and it uses ...

Input in NeoGeo
So far input works great on snes and nes, NeoGeo does not however recognize my input.
The roms load fine with fba-next or gngeo but no input is recognized, have to hard shutdown to exit as well.

Re: HDMI port
There are a lot of pins in the HDMI port and they are very close together in the pcb, it would be pretty hard to get, you could try grinding down the screw post and using one of these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-15cm-Mini-Right-Angle-HDMI-to-HDMI-Flexible-Flat-Ribbon-Cable-for-FPV-/322087406747?ha...

Re: Skipping the teensy
A lot of people are actually using the GPIO, I would have done it myself too but I wanted a plug and play alternative so I'm using a USB gamepad instead

Re: Gameboy Pocket Guide
Only thing stopping me from doing the GBC/GBP is that it would be much harder to put the extra 4 buttons in, It's such a cramped space alreadywermy wrote:I've seen this! It is pretty great. Awesome that he got such a big battery in there too. Shame it's only 2 buttons, though.
