Re: Where to buy Resistors and Capacitors?

By the way, it's probably more cost effective to buy an assortment of resistors which will include the values we need. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AUAUDATE-600pcs-Resistor-Resistance-Assortment/dp/B01DU1UJ38/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1463072214&sr=8-3&keywords=assorted+resistors+1%2F4w Means you end up wi...

Re: Display BW corp - cabling - picture trembling

Have you tried the composite output on another display? Your TV maybe? If that flickers also, it could rule out the display.

Re: Yellow Prevention

I personally wouldn't paint or lacquer my gameboy. The coating is likely to come off on your hands through use. It's also easier to clean bare plastic than it is to repair damaged clearcoat.

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute

I should have checked this thread before opening a new one, sorry about that. I found a site that sells a 3.5 TFT display similar (possibly even the same) as the one from Adafruit and for less. The site is Gearbest.com and the item is here http://www.gearbest.com/development-boards/pp_29447.html. I...
