Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

I was thinking about adding a diode as well for some protection (raspberry pi gpio doesn't like voltages above 3.3V and I'm not sure what the current limit is)

Re: Charging light always on.

I don't know if this will help, but Adafruit has the schematic for the powerboost 1000C online at https://learn.adafruit.com/assets/24638

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

I can't wait to attempt to put it together. I have a couple of ideas to try to get it to work. Though I still can't figure out how the MOSFET does that to the powerboost considering the drain to source circuit has a break in it when the switch is on. I'm wondering if you need to add reverse voltage ...

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

I'm using a DPDT switch . I've been working at that for a while now, but only making slow progress. The depletion MOSFET was turning back on as soon as I flipped the power switch, meaning the PowerBoost would shut off instantly. At the moment I've got EN shorted to ground through a large resistor. ...

Re: [For Sale] Micro SD Card Cart board with Advanced Filtering

They come from Raleigh, NC area. You should easily get it before the end of next week. Thanks. That should be fine. The only part of the US that I seem to have issues with is the northeast/New England area where packages seem to get stuck for four or five days before making it to Wisconsin two days...

Re: [For Sale] Micro SD Card Cart board with Advanced Filtering

Hoping mine comes in by Thursday (Friday at the absolute latest) of next week before I go on vacation! Depending on what state these will be sent from, I may be willing to pay more for shipping to ensure that I get it before I leave my home for a while if that's okay with you.

Re: Tackling Graceful Shutdowns on the GBZ

@Camble Were you able to try the MOSFET solution with both MOSFETs yet? If so, do you have an original DMG-01 power switch or are you using a true DPDT switch? I'm trying to figure out if this will be doable with the original power switch (the wiring diagram for it suggests it will not work if I'm r...

Re: After a battery solution

I used 4 of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/290919846311 along with one of http://www.ebay.com/itm/221512994763. Soldered a jst connector to the protection circuit and put some 66mm pvc heat shrink around the pack. The batteries are about the size of AA batteries, so it just barely fits.

Re: [FOR SALE][US] 3D-Printed GB Button Wells

@wermy what is the inner diameter of the button wells?

Edit: Now that I can take a look at the STL file, it looks like it's about 11.5 mm.
