Re: MintyPi V3 with Lite Screen

So you bought the Lite screen and you want to use it on the v3? well then you need to install the LCD driver but since you are a noob with all of this just use the mintyPi lite image to get it to show. But then there are other issues you will have like the device not turning on for more than a few s...

Re: White Screen and no boot (dead pi?)

Yup the laptop charger likely killed the charging chip or some other parts but best way to know is to plus a usb-c cable into something like a usb port of a computer and see if the lights come on to show it's charging the battery. You can also test the voltage of the battery to see if it has a charg...

Re: White screen on minty pi lite

Yeah, you could. Then follow the sudomod wiki on how to put ROMs on your SD card/mintyPi. Thats what I used to guide me through it. Also, you could message me to see what website I used for ROMs if you would rather.(I'm not sure if I can post links on here.) No rom links, if you want to PM him with...

Re: White screen on minty pi lite

Only thing I can tell you that it's soldering related or the ribbon could be damaged, it's always the soldering 95% of the time here is a picture of continuity from the Pi to the LCD board, check these points for continuity and if one does not have continuity then there is your problem.

Re: Buttons not working

I think you are again skipping the important part, continuity. Have you tested continuity or are you just winging it? Without having a multimeter and doing continuity testing you are shooting in the dark and pretty much wasting our time trying to help since you can't verify the problems without it. ...

Re: GBA Saves Without Using Save States?

Nothing to do with the mintyPi but the emulator itself, you can use other emulators for the GBA. I have had this issue happen too seems something is not setup properly for the save system as each rom uses different kinds of save types. The wiki might have more info but if not you can do a save state...

Re: White screen on minty pi lite

Get a linux OS like one of the virtual ones or even the bootable usb or disc kind so you can do that. Don't ask for a guide go look up videos or tutorials on how to get linux running off a usb drive.

Re: White screen on minty pi lite

Did you find a solution to your problem, I actually have the same one. I have good continuity at every point using Wermy's build guide as a reference and multimeter. But I haven't tried trimming the ribbon cable. As for the SD card, I get the white screen with or without it inserted but it's maybe ...
