Re: Collection of stupid mistakes

Hmmm..... I have several unfinished items as well: - PiGrrl 2. I think I have this one about done actually. I started it in early '16. I didn't have a 3D printer then, so I had someone print the case using wood filament. It sanded nicely and took stain to it. Then I applied 2 layers of clear coat to...

Re: Things to do with the stickers that come with things you order

I'm really bad with stickers. I love them but never want to attach them to anything as transitory as a computer or laptop, so they always end up un-stuck... so they just end up being hoarded. maybe all these oshpark stickers will go on my current laptop which i see having for a while (a thinkpad) I...

Re: what do you do for a living?

Hi. I am a DevOps engineer (? titles change all the time for me) for the Development Support Team at IBM. I've currently been assigned to the support team for Watson Health Care developers. Going back a bit further, I was a line cook to fulfill a work co-op class in my senior year of high school. Th...

Re: What is your first video game memory?

Mine is a mixture of Pong, Atari 2600 and Commodore Vic20/64 games. My pop worked for a silicon manufacturing facility for Commodore Computers way back when. I remember playing Pong for the most part and some Atari. I remember the day he came home angry and took the Atari and threw it in the trash. ...

Re: Someone is selling mintypi's

Yea. I saw a listing on ebay earlier of a similar thing. Some seller named scolari95 selling one for 300 AU (~237 US) and some hella' expensive shipping to boot. Have their own pics though, so I suppose is all good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/mintyPi-Custom-Handheld-Pi-Zero-W-/272810772273?hash=item3f8...

Re: Shut Down Button Location

Hey Veteran, I believe he's looking to find out what button you used for the shutdown. I'm curious as well. Obviously space is a premium, especially over the battery, so I'd like to know the exact button you used. Thanks! Yes. This. But I am very curious as to what location to put the button as wel...

Re: Shut Down Button Location

That faceplate looks great! You printed those stickers for text and the raspberry, right? I have to reload it again (if I can find where I put it), but I have the Nintendo font and had thought of doing that myself. And then using a light, clear coat spray to hold it down and make sure it doesn't com...

Re: Possible battery puncture

UPDATE:

I ordered a 2-pack set of batteries from this seller on Sunday night after confirming it was a puncture. The seller is in CA and I'm in MI. They arrived today.

So I'm just going to go ahead and give a huge thumbs up for their service! :)
