I have built like eleven MintyPis so far, so I thought i was a badass going to the V3. Went to replace the mosfet.... looked for a chip with eight legs......just started trying to remove it without verifying it was the correct one......it wasnt. lol

Circuit Gem "Build Guide" kinda
While I'm no Wermy by any stretch of the imagination, it seems as though a Circuit Gem build guide is a highly sought after commodity. Ill give it my best shot now. At least it will be a start. I'm waiting on another gem kit in the mail and if anyone wants more detailed photos Ill be doing them with...

[WTB] MintyPi V3 controller board only
I know this is a very long shot, but if anyone messed up a kit and has the controller PCB (That the pi solders to), Ill take it! Ill even pay shipping. Let me know fellow tinkerers. To be clear, I'm not looking for a full kit. Just the one board.

I think I'm actually good now. I separated the two. I now have the pi 3b+ getting power directly from Helder's PSU and on the second set of pads the Tinkerboy V3. I haven't had a lightning bolt since. It seemed having the power route all the way through the V3 and DPI adapter was the problem. Someth...

I actually have been working with Rodocop to modify HoolyHoos battery monitoring script. It "works" so far but the Tinkerboy V3 board has weird power fluctuations at the 5V in. Once that happens, the monitor shuts down the unit even when plugged in.
