Re: GBA Zero
Agreed on the power consumption. I use a USB wattage meter and the BW screens have been pulling around 425-450 mA at 5V and the adafruit ones pull around 150mA. No idea how the disparity can be so great.

Re: How to go about wiring PWM audio?
Here's a close-up picture of the wiring from my amp to the speaker. DSC_0001 (6).JPG Sorry the focus is so blurry on the jack, but the right two pins are wired together, which in turn is connect to the far left pin, which goes to the amp. This is perfect, thank you! It will help as I put together m...

Re: How to go about wiring PWM audio?
Hey, I'm also doing a build with PWM audio with a headphone jack, kitsch-bent mono amp and a diy low-pass filter. Here is my complete wiring. GBZ Wiring.png Any chance you can show the wiring to the headphone jack to the speaker? I'm assuming that inserting a headphone plug deactivates the speaker?...

Re: is there a sbc that could run dolphin emulator?
"I want a cheap SBC that runs the Dolphin emulator" ... well, unfortunately the market isn't quite there yet. The only successful running of Dolphin on a SBC is using a Core m5-based Intel Compute Stick. Here's that build: http://www.sudomod.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3331 The problem is that th...

Re: Collecting information on alternative displays - please contribute
So I happen to have a number of 5v to 12v DC-DC step-up converters. Can someone smarter than me explain the pros/cons of using this to power the screen at the expected 12v, as opposed to modifying the screens? I am assuming you'd be losing efficiency on the step-up and there's probably already a ste...

Good luck to you, friend. I know how hard it can be to keep up with anything when that's happening.

Re: This Controller Board any Good?
For 2-day delivery with prime shipping, $9.99 is pretty reasonable. I bought a bunch of similar common-ground boards a year ago on ebay and they were $10/each shipped, too. They work fine, as a no-frills drop-in for buttons.

Re: HELP with Stereo Sound to Headphone Jack (USB Method)
I've been trying to figure out the right way to do this also... with USB sound, how do you wire the pot, jack and amp so that you can have decent speaker audio and have it overridden when headphones are plugged in? I have yet to find a good guide.
